Attorney Karmen Tubbs, originally from Tupelo, Mississippi, has always known she wants to practice law. This dream drove her to study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and major in political science as part of the pre-law program. After graduating, she went to Elon University School of Law, where she was involved in organizations that allowed her to interact with and assist the local community.
This provided the opportunity to intern with a firm that helped nurture and develop her passion for family law. As a child of divorce, she understands how changing family dynamics can impact the immediate family and extended loved ones. She strives to help people attain their goals and be free to live their life in a way that allows the family to continue moving forward.
She likes to play with her two dogs and fish in her spare time. Karmen also likes to watch movies, collect plants, and read comic books.
